How to install VLC on Linux Mint 13

Step to install VLC on Linux Mint 13
1. Make sure the following repositories are enabled on your Linux Mint 13. If not, you can add them to /etc/apt/sources.list.

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise-updates main restricted universe multiverse

deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ precise free non-free
sudo apt-get update
3. Install VLC using command
sudo apt-get install vlc
Or, you can also use Linux Mint Software Manager to install VLC. Type vlc on the search box. Then click vlc and press Install to start installing VLC on Linux Mint 13.
Once finished, VLC can be found under Menu > Sound & Video > VLC.
