The latest version of Pear OS 6 has reached version Alpha 1. You can already download Pear OS 6 ISO from the official website Pear OS. The following tutorial will discuss how to make Pear OS 6 LiveUSB. In other words we are going to run the Pear OS 6 from a flash drive without having to install to the hard disk. This method is useful for those of you who want to try to see and learn new features in a new Linux distribution without having to mess up your hard disk. We are using Unetbootin to create this Pear OS 6 LiveUSB.
Objectives:

Requirements:
- Windows PC or Linux PC
- Latest version of Unetbootin
- Pear OS 6 ISO
Step 1. Download Unetbootin
For Windows users, you can download and run Unetbootin directly without installation.
For Linux users, you may check out this page for Unetbootin binary and source package.
Step 2. Run Unetbootin
Step 3. If you have Pear OS 6 ISO file, you must select Diskimage option and browse the iso file you've just downloaded.
Step 4. Select USB Drive on the Type and Select the USB disk Drive.
Step 5. Press OK when ready and the installation will begin shortly.
