This is the third part of the tutorial how to install Ubuntu Server 12.04. Please read our previous part 1 and part 2 for better understanding for each installation step. On the last step we already select if we want to encrypt the home directory or not. Now, on the next step the installer will detect our time zone.
13. Select the disk to store the installation.
14. Confirm your settings before writing to the disk
15. Then installer will copy files to the hard disk. Wait until it finished.
16. If you are connected to the internet, installer will also update the repository automatically. Next select software that should be installed on Ubuntu server. For example, OpenSSH server and File Server
The installer will continue installing packages into the system. Now install GRUB to the system
When done, reboot the PC and Ubuntu Server should be up and running upon reboot. Enjoy.
