Ubuntu 12.10 development is now reached Alpha 1 stage. I have just downloaded and boot this new Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha 1 on my USB stick. On this tutorial we will show you how to install the latest version of Google Chrome on my newly installed Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha 1.
1. Download Google Chrome stable for Ubuntu 32bit
2. Select the appropriate package match with your current architechture from the list.
3. You should now have a file google-chrome-stable_current_i386.deb
4. Right click the file and select Open with Ubuntu Software Center
5. On Ubuntu Software Center, click Install. When you see such warning below, just click Ignore and Install button to continue the installation.
When done, Google Chrome should be listed and can be run via Dash | Google Chrome.
