The most beautiful Ubuntu based Linux Distribution on the wild

Hi, see you again on my blog. On this post, I just want to write about my own experiences when trying several Linux distributions. There are many Linux flavors available on the wild but to me, only some of them are comes with a user friendly interface. Here I will give a short review about the most beautiful Linux distribution on the wild that based on Ubuntu. This review is based on my own experiences and no other tendency at all. So, it could be different with you or any other Linux users.

The most beautiful Linux Distribution

1. Pear Linux 6
Pear Linux 6 is based on Ubuntu 12.04.1 and it comes with a fresh desktop and dock. Slightly, Pear Linux 6 is more like a Mac OS X. I am not sure if the developer is trying to mimic Mac OS X on this distribution. Pear Linux 6 is beautiful and easy enough for a new Linux users or a switching Windows users.
Pear Linux 6 comes with an easy software manager called Pear AppStore. With this software manager we can easily search, install or remove applications on Pear Linux. Pear AppStore is a modified version of Ubuntu Software Center. You still can use Package Manager to manage the package installation under Pear Linux 6.
Pear Linux 6 is highly customisaable like any other Ubuntu based distros. Its lightweight, beautiful and supports almost any Ubuntu packages and software. For more information about Pear Linux, download link and other resources, please visit: http://pearlinux.fr
When Pear Linux 6 is quite frugal with the pre-installed applications, it however has a very nice software center, which is called "Pear appstore". Since Pear Linux 6 is based on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, the software repositories is obviously very large. The design of Pear appstore makes it easy to search for apps by categories. The auto-suggestion features when you search for apps by names is very nice too. (Linuxandlife)

2. Deepin Linux 12.06
Deepin Linux is another Ubuntu based Linux distribution that has a clean and beautiful interface by default. This distro is developed by Chinese Linux community. Just like Pear Linux, Deepin Linux 12.06 also has special features such as Deepin Software Center and Scrot (Deepin screenshot program) that replace the default Ubuntu screenshot app.
Linux Deepin is a fantastic distro. It looks great, is easy to use and is fast. This would be a great introductory distro for someone coming from Windows. Is it enough to tempt me away from my beloved Unity? Possibly! I’m going to play around with it some more and if I learn to like it even more then I may be replacing Ubuntu with Deepin, or at least dual booting – watch this space. (refugeeks)
3. Kubuntu 12.10
With KDE as the default Desktop manager, Kubuntu 12.10 is also a nice and interesting Ubuntu based distro as well. Compared to those two distributions above, Kubuntu 12.10 is slower and its not good on a slow computer. But if we speak of beauty, Kubuntu 12.10 is not uglier than those distros. Kubuntu 12.10 comes with a well designed GUI, fonts, window decoration etc.
Kubuntu is based on KDE SC, so it has nothing to do with the Unity desktop environment used in the regular version of Ubuntu. Therefore, no online searches are being made, either to Canonical services or Amazon (Softpedia).
If you are not Kubuntu fans, you can try Linux Mint 13 KDE edition which is similar to Kubuntu 12.10 as well.
4. Linux Mint 13
Last but not least, Linux Mint 13 also in this list of the most beautiful Linux distribution. Linux Mint 13 also based on Ubuntu but it uses their own desktop manager called Cinnamon or MATE. Personally, I prefer Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon version other than MATE. Linux Mint also fast, lightweight and supports any Ubuntu packages as well.
