Install Guest Additions on Fuduntu 2012

This tutorial will show you how to install Guest Additions on Fuduntu 2012. After installing Fuduntu 2012 on VirtualBox, the next important thing is to install Virtualbox Guest Additions on Fuduntu to get better performance and screen resolution.

Steps to install Guest Additions on Fuduntu 2012

1. Mount Guest Additions via Devices > Install Guest Additions

2. Then, a confirmation window will be shown up on Fuduntu guest machine

Select Open Autorun Prompt and press OK to try auto installing Guest Additions. In my case, I got the following error when trying to install Guest Additions on Fuduntu 2012.

The error is missing kernel so we need to install correct kernel to continue. To solve this problem, execute the following command to install kernel devel on Fuduntu 2012.
