Step 1. Download Virtualbox .deb package for Linux
Step 2. Install lsb on Pear Linux 6. I can install Virtualbox 4.2 on my Pear Linux 6 without installing lsb on the system but. Its a good thing to install it first.
sudo apt-get install lsb
Step 3. Install Virtualbox
32bit system
sudo dpkg -i virtualbox-4.2_4.2.0-80737~Ubuntu~precise_i386.deb
64 bit system
sudo dpkg -i virtualbox-4.2_4.2.0-80737~Ubuntu~precise_amd64.deb 
Once finished, Virtualbox will be listed on the App lists.
