How to format a new disk on NAS4Free

After adding new hard disk to NAS4Free server, we need to format it in order to use it. This short tutorial will show you how to format a new disk on NAS4Free. I am using NAS4Free 9.1.0.1 on this tutorial. OK lets get into it.

• Login to NAS4Free web admin
• Go to Disks | Format

 

 

How to add new hard disk to NAS4Free

The following tutorial will show you how to add new hard disk to NAS4Free system. I am using NAS4Free version 9.1.0.1. NAS4Free is a lightweight, simple server that can do many things to your network. We will discuss more about this NAS4Free on this blog in the future. But now, let me add my new hard disk to my NAS4Free server.

• Login to NAS4Free via web interface.
• Go to Disks | Management. At this point, make sure the hard disk is connected to the server.

 

NAS4Free 9.1.0.1_687 cannot boot on my virtual machine

I was planning to test the new version of NAS4Free system on my Proxmox VE. I just downloaded the NAS4Free 9.1.0.1_687 and boot it on my virtual machine. I was expecting something new but I got the following black screen with errors code instead. 

I am currently downloading the updated version NAS4Free 9.1.0.1.804 and hope I won't see this kind of error. I don't know what to do.
