How to install Vuze Torrent Client on Ubuntu 13.10

Vuze is a powerful, rich features torrent client for Linux and Windows. Compared to Transmission, Vuze has many benefits such as built in HD video player plugin and some other features. Vuze needs Java JRE to be installed on Ubuntu to work. So, before you attempting to install Vuze on Ubuntu 13.10, make sure you have installed Oracle Java (JRE) on Ubuntu 13.10.
Once you have Java installed, you can now download Vuze package for Linux. Simply click this link or you can use wget tool from Terminal.
wget http://cf1.vuze.com/files/VuzeInstaller.tar.bz2
Now, extract the downloaded file.
tar -xjvf VuzeInstaller.tar.bz2
You should now have a new folder called vuze. cd to the vuze directory and execute this command to run Vuze
./vuze
If you have Java installed correctly, Vuze should now run and ready to download torrent files from the internet. Enjoy downloading.
