This tutorial is going to show you how to install Webmin on OpenSUSE 13.1. When I wrote this tutorial, the latest stable version of Webmin is version 1.680. I will keep update the tutorial on How to install Webmin on OpenSUSE 13.1 everytime new version of Webmin is available.
First, we need to download Webmin rpm package for OpenSUSE. Simply click the link below to download
http://jaist.dl.sourceforge.net/project/webadmin/webmin/1.680/webmin-1.680-1.noarch.rpm
Or, you can also use wget to download
wget http://jaist.dl.sourceforge.net/project/webadmin/webmin/1.680/webmin-1.680-1.noarch.rpm
rpm -ivh webmin-1.680-1.noarch.rpm
There should be no issue on installation.
Next, open Firefox and type https://192.168.2.102:10000
Change the IP address with your OpenSUSE IP address
If you see the above page on Firefox, click Add exception and press Confirm Certificate
Now login using root and password. Now you should see Webmin page.
