Pure OS 6 only includes Gnome Player on the multimedia application. We need to install more audio or video player in order to improve the multimedia capabilities to Pure OS 6. How to install VLC on Pure OS 6
1. Open Pure OS 6 Software Center that listed under System Tools | Administration | Software Center
2. Type VLC on the search box. Click the image for bigger view.
2. Click More Info if you need additional information, version, file size to be downloaded etc.
Press Install to start the installation. This will let Pure OS Software Center to download packages needed. Once finished, you will find VLC listed under Sound & Video application menu. Enjoy
